When will the US host the Olympics next?

i know vancouver is the next winter and london is the next summer, do we even know past then?

never. by the time it gets around to this part of the world, we'll be part of Mexico.

I'm thinking 2020 might be the year.

America has actually had it rather recently compared to some other countries.  

Brazil's got a bid in for 2016, and it would be nice to see them get it.  They've never hosted the games before (actually I'm not sure if ANY south American country has).  I think they try to spread out the games between countries.

I guess there's 2018.  But I have a better feeling abut 2020.

Chicago is making a bid for 2016. If that doesn't happen Birmingham, Boston, and Minneapolis-St. Paul have expressed interest in the 2020 games. Personally I would like to see an African city get the games at some point because there's never been one in Africa before. I'm sure Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Cairo could make a successful bid.

Chicago is a candidate city for 2016, along with Tokyo, Madrid, and Rio de Janiero. After that, there has been little to no discussion about the locations.
