the coroner has sent me interrum ones but the inquest hasnt started yet but i know he has filled in to parts of the cert for two causes of death so far. will he still be looking for other things, and waiting for the reports from the doctors & nurses.and will there be a jury at the inquest, or will it depend on the case.

  1. Have you considered picking up the phone and calling the Coroners Office?  They can tell you when it will be available to the public.

    Hope this helps,

  2. As far as I am aware, where there is involvement in a sudden death by the coroner, he will issue an interim certificate to allow the deceased to be laid to rest. Then normally around six months later there will be an inquest and his findings will be made public, then the coroner will actually register the death. I know of the three deaths in our family where they were  classed as *sudden*, this was the procedure.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Only the coroner can tell you that.

Give them a call. Because they have given you an interim one I would guess that they will hold an inquest.
