    state laws would have to be changed, and those won't change till the federal laws that take away highway funds get changed, and with democrats in charge, thats likely not going to happen for quite a while.

    We have all asked this at one time or another in life. As you can see most people think its a bad idea. Eventually you will too...

  6. hopefully, NEVER.. the last thing we need in this world is more irresponsible teenagers drinking and driving legally. Its bad enough most of yall do it anyways .. seriously.. it would be a cold day in h**l.  

  7. When the driving age goes up and penalties for DWI involve a loss of license after a first infraction.  Think about Europe, if you get a BAC content that is equal to our DWAI, your license is suspended for a year.  Europeans have their S*** together, thus they have a lower drinking age.

    In all seriousness, though, I don't think it will be for quite some time. There are too many alcohol-related deaths and problems, and it would be foolish to lower the age to 18. Some (not all) 18-yr olds are not responsible enough to handle being legal adults in the first place. (I know the thumbs-down are coming for that, but note that I said SOME.)

  12. Hopefully it will never be lowered to 18. Drinking is stupid and irresponsible. Why hand it to someone who is already so young and stupid? What's the point of drinking anyways? the only thing it does is kill innocent people

  13. The legal drinking age is 19 right now.  Why would they lower it one more year?

    At 19, you are finished with high school and either in college or working.  Lowering the legal drinking age to an age where you might still be in high school really does not make much sense.  I cannot see it happening.
