Question:

When will the iPhone 3G be out of date?

I want to get an iPhone 3G but they only do them on 18/24month contracts which I don't mind, but when will the next version of the iPhone be released? I don't want to be stuck, 12 months from now, with an outdated iPhone whilst all the hip and happening kids are getting the latest model

  1. To be honest, I wouldn't suggest getting an Iphone at all. They do a really poor job of performing as a phone from personal experience.

    My suggestions if you are thinking along these lines though include the HTC Diamond or the Blackberry Bold... but definitely not the Iphone.

    As far as when it will be out of date I do not know. It was only released a few months ago so I would assume about 1.5-2yrs from now, perfect timing for when everyone is just about up on their contracts and ready to get a new one.
