When will the new Sharpe be shown?

They started filming Sharpes Peril in May and i wondered when it will be shown on british TV? Also, does anyone know what it will be about? I cant wait!

ITV haven't updated the 'Sharpe' page on their website with an air date for Sharpe's Peril yet but you can still get some information about it here: http://www.itv.com/Drama/perioddrama/Sha...

Apparently a few of ITV's big budget dramas have been delayed this year because of some new guy taking over in ITV, so there's no definite date for when Sharpe's Peril will be shown but it should be some time in November.

You can already pre-order it on DVD from Amazon and the DVD release date is 24 November so I would think that it will probably air on or around 23 November.
