  1. No.

But of course it depends on which currency your have in your pocket.

For a Zimbabwean these countries will seem pretty pricey right now, for a first world citizen not at all.

  2. the czech republic is already more expensive than GErmany , related to prices of basic foods, and comparable in prices of gasoline with most of western Europe. Certain clothing trademarks sell their goods for higher prices than in France...

the very samed CD you would by in the US for 12USD is sold here for 25USD

  3. They will soon be more expensive but the euro is going down righ now but hurry up.

  4. Indeed it is just a matter of time.  The economies of countries like this are improving rapidly and thesefore the "cost of living" also increases relatively.

Compared with 10 years ago the growth is tremendous.  Being part of the Euro will only encourage this growth and investment.  I worked for a international company and we had subs in both countries and the volume of business was as such that they were struggling to manage the business due to demand.

As for "extremely" expensive - again that is relative.  Being part of the Eurozone these countries are not likely to be more expensive to me than the rest of the Eurozone.  However with currency fluctuations as they are in the last 6 months for other countries such as the US & UK, I can well imagine that the cost of visiting has (fact) and will continue to increase yes.
