I run 30 minutes EVERY DAY, eat 1200 calories per day. I am losing inches and gaining muscle, but the scale is not going down (because of the muscle gain). So when am I going to see the scale go down?

  1. Hard to say but you must have lost quite alot because muscle weighs more than fat. Well done, it doesn't matter what it says on the scale because if you are healthy and losing inches thats good right?

  2. That is the whole point. Getting rid of the spare tyre and putting the weight (muscles) where they show to the best advantage.

  3. i dont have an answer but i can tell you i'm on the same boat!!!! i've lost like 2 inches from my waist, 1 from my arms...my clothes feel better...but the scale just doesn't want to respond...so ill be looking forward to this answer!

  4. I think the amount of weight on the scaled doesn't matter.  As long as you see physical changes, like becoming more toned, you're good.  You're definitely on the right track, keep up the good work.

  5. well muscle weighs more than fat so you should just exercise the parts that you need for example lets say you've got muscle on your arms so don't exercise your arms and lets say you need work on your tummy so work on your tummy just get in between not to fatty and not to muscular
