When will the water in northeast florida warm up?

That is why man invented the wetsuit.  Spring suit for water temps into the upper 50's, full suit for 40's - upper 50's and when the air temp is in the lower 40's.  Dry suit for anything colder.  Complain about the surf size, but no the water/air temp.  There should be no excuse for that with all the thermal protection on the market.  Besides, didn't realize Florida waters got too cold to surf.

water usually stays cold until weather outdoors warms up.. kind of obvious right.. but im a  beach lifeguard and it seems like every year around spring break we get one big last north swell with high winds and cold water... after that it will start warming up. Little by little until mid august and september where the warmest water is... when spring starts getting warm outside 5the water doesnt get warm very quick but it will be hott outside so the colder water will feel good... and as long as we keep getting waves ill rough it out being cold
