When will the world end!!?

I know that Armstrodamous ( however his name is spelled ) made a prediction of our last days on earth, but when will it be? Does anyone know?

I have a concrete protection to my answer because astronomer believe that there are a new planet that will revolve across, this is what we called the intersection orbit between the orbit of the Earth and a new planet so these is not so sure but there are some incidents that people will belive on it and it will happen ...( hope it is not... too scary...!?)

One thing you should keep in mind when fretting over Armageddon is that almost every generation of people in every civilization have thought that they were living in the end of days. Its been happening long before Christ came into the world or "Nostradamus". So far they have all been wrong, remember Y2K?

However if you wanting to talk about possible ways for it to end, there is no shortage of topics. Look up gamma ray bursts if you want to see something scary, killer radiation from a star collapsing into a black hole that travels at the speed of light and would wipe out humanity before we knew it was coming.

Because when it IS about to end, there is nothing we can do about it anyway.

well, it will end in approximately 5 billion years because of its life span of the sun,10 billion years, but when a star has burned up 10-20% of its hydrogen, the core will start to run out of fuel. when this happens it means that its life will soon run out. the core will start to contract and release energy and will become a red giant, red giants expand and get bigger and bigger. some scientists say that when our sun does this it will swallow up planet after planet up to Earth and i'd say by then we'd be done for :S

One thing's for sure, it's not 2012, and if by some twist of fate, it does end in 2012, it won't be due to the end of the Mayan calendar - it will just be some sick twist of fate.

The way the Earth is going to end is going to be tied to the death of the Sun. In another 4 billion years, give or take, the Sun will expend the last of its hydrogen fuel, and will then switch to burning helium. This will expand the Sun since it burns hotter. The sun will then scorch the Earth, possibly engulfing it.

Of course, all life on the planet could be destroyed sooner than that by some collision of a large asteroid, comet, etc., or even possibly through some human act.

In the end, it doesn't matter - at the risk of sounding fatalistic, "que sera sera." Live each day to the fullest. "Tomorrow is promised to no one."

it is impossible to predict even the exact era of earth's annihilation, only guesses can be made.. Scientists say that there is a little probability about this end in 2029 and 2036, with an asteroid is supposed to coolide with earth, if any such huge collision occurs then earth may end, else changes in the atmosphere of earth or any drastic change in the sun like changing into supernova etc (not possible for a million years), may result in world's end.
