When will the world series Rugby Union 08 tickets be on Sale?

Hi there

It is my partners 21st this year and he is a massive rugby fan, and I have decided to purchase tickets for the World Series Matches which are held in Wales (Millenium Stadium) after the Welsh win in the Grandslam this year I imagine the demand for tickets will be huge.

Does anyone know when these will go on sale? I have heard that the fixtures have been announced but I cant seem to find any information in reagrds to this.

As everyone else has tried to guess at what the world series may be, I thought I'd have a go; perhaps you mean the European cup final, which is being played in Cardiff this year between Munster and Toulouse but it's going to be very difficult to get tickets for that.

six nations is in feb 2009 now check for autumn internationals with the all blacks in november im sure h**l love that all the best

I think you are referring to the Six Nations. The tournament is usually on in Febuary and March.

Ireland, England, Wales, France, Italy and Scotland participate in the 6 Nations. Each team plays each other, and each team has three games at home, so you can choose from the 6 countries where you would like to watch a 6 nations game.

If you go to www.scrum.com it shold have all the information you need.

The "World Series" is the IRB sevens circuit and the next two rounds are in London on the 24/25 May and in Edinburgh on the 31/1 May/June.

However if you are talking about the Six Nations then it is over for the season. Wales next scheduled home games are next years Six Nations against England and Ireland in Feb/Mar however Wales should be playing one or two of the Southern Hemishere teams when they tour in November.

Other than that, the other posts also have information on the Under 20's Word Championship which is taking place in Wales in June.

if by world series you win world cup then you'll have to wait till 2011!

you may be thinking of the IRB junior world championships. which is the countrys under 19 /20 teams.

go to www.ticketmaster.co.uk  and search under sport and rugby they have tickets on there.

im fairly confident there isnt a "world series" for rugby, just the world cup, which is held every four years
