  4. There are allies to help and a lot of rascals not to do so . Some countries are near USA, some are receiving money and are against Americans . That the real problem, to made a better choice .

  5. Not until America quits allowing it!

  6. UHHHH

we owe the biggest ammount in the world. sorry, you lose

  7. A better question is when will we stop spending 483 billion dollars a year on the military even without the Iraq war. Its time to take troops home from all over the world unless someone wants to pay us to be their. Taiwan and South Korea are the only places that even need our support.

  8. America is one of the reasons that many countries continue to get poorer:

  9. When & only when we force them to.

  10. I can understand the situation with the African countries that had no chance of paying back the money.  The leaders of these countries should simply admit they were completely incompetent, and shouldn't have been so brazenly strident about wanting the colonizing powers to leave.  Some African countries sufferered crushing debt burdens because of stupid, short-sighted, greedy leaders.

However........  there are many countries that were perfectly capable of paying off their debts.  When France was questioned why, after several decades of prosperity, they still hadn't paid off their WWII debt to the U.S., their foreign minister quipped, "A favor repaid too quickly is a sign of ingratitude".  Yeah?  I'm sure a few of us would like to spit in that arrogant prig's inferior French Chardonnay.

Back in the 1970's and 1980's, there were dozens of stories about meetings of the major worldwide banks with debtor countries.  There was never even any possibility these countries planned to honor their full debt; they were simply negotiating how much of it they could get away with not paying.

Russia did the same.  We loaned them lots of money, or paid for their grain.... yes, we paid for the Communists' grain so their people wouldn't starve, and instead of saying, "We bought 50 million tons of corn and wheat, so here is our payment and our thanks", they instead negotiated a reduced payment.  I know I can't do that at the local grocery store.  Maybe the next time I go to a restaurant, I can say, "That was a fine meal, now let's discuss how much of the bill I'll actually pay."

The U.S. is the world's babysitter, their banker, and their big strong brother (when some bully is beating them up).

  11. I guess when the USA learns to mind its own business I guess. It isn't a question of charity but of reciprocity. You scratch my back and I scratch yours. The countries that supposedly get these financial assistance are no better than they were before.

  12. Not a very valid question......we have exploited labor not only in OUR country but in other countries around the world. I think the better question is when will American companies pay a decent wage to its workers? When will commercialism stop robbing the livelyhood of  people in America and around the world?

"When you are so hungry you'll belive anything they say---they are feeding you the politics of starving"

  13. they need to

  14. never

  15. When our congress and executive branch stop giving it away! You'd think they'd notice we have starving, homeless people here in the states!

  16. I'll bet Judge Judy could sort it out for you.
