  1. I think 5000 "The year 5000"

  2. no. never.

  3. after code relief, they will not run out of numbers.

"wastage of numbers"??? HUH?? If you are paying for telephone service, how could the number be wasted?

  4. no, never.

many years ago, phones numbers only consisted of only 5 numbers.. now it's 7. they will just add an extra digit when they run out of numbers.

also, they renewed area codes to allow more numbers to be generated. :)

    hope this helps!

  5. There are (about) 950 different area codes available for use in the U.S.  Each area code could theoretically have up to about 10 million phone numbers (minus utility numbers, loopbacks, etc.).

Include internal routing of many phones off one external number (PBX systems and the like), number portability, etc., and there's certainly no shortage.

  6. April 23, 2016, at 8:43 PM, Central Daylight Time.  (Except in Scatawannie, New York.  For some reason, they will still have phone numbers there. I don't know why.)

    Thank you.  You may go.
