I think he deserves the chance to start against NE because Boller is obviously a bust and Flacco is a rookie and Troy is the Heisman winner wich proves something stop rippin on troy hes the best the ravens have.

  1. this season my friend

trust me, im a vivid troy smith fan, he has no competition, ive heard the new coach is impresssed by him and boller was just horrible last season, and they wont start a rookie at qb

also if u look at the stats from last season, all troy smith did for the ravens was win, billick was just retarded

  2. i think he should be starter too!! but i think he gonna start sometime this season

  3. better yet who will he throw to. do have any recievers that can get open?

  4. Heisman winner does not automatically equal success.

I never thought much of Troy in college.  I mean yeah, good in OSU system, but not NFL material.

I think I was wrong.  He has looked way better than I would have imagined.

I imagine that Kyle will start the season, but be on a very short rope and will get yanked in a heartbeat for Troy.  Troy will then have to prove he should stay in the 1 spot.  He just may...he just may.

  5. He should get it pretty soon because I can tell you that nobody wants to see Kyle Boller start. Joe Flacco is just a rookie and they may want to take their time with him as to not throw him to the wolves just yet.

I was a huge Troy Smith fan while he was with the Buckeyes and Ive always wanted him to get his chance in the NFL, because no matter the situation, all the guy does is win games. His intangibles are second to none and he has a heck of an arm too.

Troy Smith will get to start for the Ravens this season, and the "hes only 6 feet tall" people will eat their words because Smith is going to be a good NFL quarterback.

  6. He'll start in the regular season. Kyle Boller has no hope and Joe Flacco is not ready yet (or maybe he's another bust). Who knows? If Smith excels, the Ravens could trade Flacco in the future.

  7. Sometime this year. The QB that plays the best will keep the job. Boller has a leg-up on experience, but he's only capable of being a part-time starter at best for 3 or 4 games a year. Flacco still has to adjust to the system, but if the Ravens fall out of the race early, he may get his chance sooner than people think.

I don't anticipate the Ravens being in the playoffs this year and this also may be the time to start rebuilding parts of the defense after the season.
