  1. i have a flat screen but bought to early for a separate free view box. there are several now with inbuilt free view a quick web or  site search will show  you some models or  get a recent magazine dedicated to such stuff.

it may pay you to wait a year as both BBC and ITV are looking at incorporating free view HD too and this will b be the way to go.unless its HD (blue ray ) capable its not worth buying.

also  a recording hard drive with built in free view  should be available with both  ITV and BBC  before long. as this MAY? also  be build in  at  a later stage its worth asking the same question from people on industry's cutting edge ie a specialist magazine.

  2. Probably not too long.

There is currently a shortage of freesat boxes and with the introduction of free-to-air HD in the UK, the TV manufacturers would be stupid not to introduce them.

  3. i dont know but you might be interested in satellite free to air separate decoder box which i,m interested in

  4. take a look in places like Curry's or Argos there loads of them. we got my son an Hitachi for his bedroom, bought a high gain antenna and free view all works fine
