When will we live in a free world again

I can't help it, with the USA trying to dominate the world, setting up illegal torture camps, their troops committing the most horrible atrocities, and British troops helping, with our rights being restricted by the day and the police state approaching, will we ever be free again and live in a world without an overpowering US tyranny, in a world where human rights are respected and everyone had rights the rulers cannot take away?

I'm so sick of this all, it feels like in n**i Germany in the 1930s. I don't even dare to write protest letters critizing US policies anymore, because I'm scared I might end up in Guantanamo.

Will the world ever be free again???

  1. The suggestion we ever lived in a free world misrepresents the power that our Republic held for a brief time, maybe thirty years. After that time, say 1812 or so, we have lost our way. Beholden to special interests, the curtains repeatedly drawn to conceal the enslavement of our citizenry, the failure of the public to get angry with a purpose since the 1970's. Impeachment of Mr. Clinton was just an example of the failure to communicate our desires to those elected to represent us. The failure to impeach Mr. Bush for his acts doubles the power of those in control. what legitimate power they wield, is not used to educate or enlighten, but to mask truth and facts for profit.

  2. when WAS the "world " free? much of our coffee & chocolate still is & has been for centuries cultivated by slaves. so what do you mean  FREE?

  3. Yes we will live in a free world again ,

After the WW III , or when Americans will be able to realize the real face of their enemy.

  4. How do you know what n**i Germany felt like, you weren't born then. I don't know where you are from, but obviously your life sucks and instead of pointing the finger at others maybe you should point the finger at yourself and start taking some responsibility for your own life. You sound like a Soviet without a home.

  5. No, we are on the verge of a one world order which will lead to a police state much like Germany in the 30's and 40's.

  6. This question has so many broad based assumption built into it that it is not worth answering.

  7. Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country
