  1. For Petes sake GROW UP.

  2. Until governments complying with the World Health Organization with the USA included make changes to all the treaties and Controlled Substances Act...marijuana will remain a Schedule I drug.

It seems that those who make the decisions about medical benefits of any drug continue to state that marijuana maintains a high potential for use; abuse; medical addiction; and no medical use. (There are synthetic THC products on the market.)

I will disagree with anyone who states there are no marijuana related accidents or deaths as there are statistics to support the contrary. It is not a victimless crime.

But, despite what you or I think about drugs in general...it won't change until the law makers and medical experts make those changes!

  3. Hi,

What we need is a "Johnny Pot Seed"  dude to go all over the US and drop a billion seeds so it just grows every where.  They can't pull up all of it!  And if they burn it the whole Nation will get high!  Then they change the stupid laws.  Hey did anyone see all the disinformation coming out of Great Britain lately about how the "new Marijuana" is causing mental problems...... when will the lies stop!?  And to the copper with 30 years of service.  The Police Chief of Winooski Vermont in the 70's toked up, so don't think we don't know what happens to all that weed you guys confiscate.

  4. When idiots realize that marijuana is not made like alcohol it's grown and far too many people can grow it and give it to little kids.  If you don't like it move to Amsterdam.  It's legal there.

  5. Unfortunately we seem to be a puritanical population determined to live under some sort of outdated moralistic dogma at any cost...even our own peril.  Don't misunderstand me.  I am not for drugs.  Don't do any.  Never have, never will.  BUT, I believe that they are a fact of life and quite frankly, what others choose to do with their bodies is not up to me. I therefore feel like pot, cocaine, whatever should be legally manufactured/grown here in the US where it can be governmentally controlled for quality and safety and then sold in federally regulated establishments where it can be monitored and taxed to the hilt.  Imagine all the money, resources, and yes, even lives that could be saved if we weren't fighting the drug cartels of Columbia.  What we could do with all the funding allocated to the Coast Guard to patrol for illegal drug smuggling.  The billions of dollars that could be saved in farm subsidies by allowing farmers here, in the USA, to plant the types of crops that produce the illegal substances many are so willing to buy.  No, I personally don't like the idea of legal drug use but neither do I smoke tobacco or drink alcohol.  What's the difference?  Why is it that we draw the line there?  Drugs have been here since the beginning of recorded time.  To think they are somehow going away is naive, at best.  Why are we letting the billions of dollars being spent on drugs abet those that are determined to do us harm?  Nope, I think we outta make them legal and use the proceeds to fix the things that are wrong here at home.

  6. When the government realises how much money they can profit from it.

  7. I bet that once our younger generation comes up, we will have some tolerance for it. It is just a plant afterall. I have read in a survey that about 46% of Americans have tried weed, and that number is only going to get larger as this new generation pops up. I hope!

I want to be able to smoke a joint on my porch swing when I'm 75!

  8. Isnt it amazing? Drunk drivers kill so many people every year. Weed affects only the smoker and not always in such a negative way :) The government has it all backwards and none of our corrupt politicians will ever come out and vouch for the legalization of pot. In my opinion,  we will never see the legalization of that fantastic herb.

  9. Prohibition does work, it makes the government a h**l of a lot of money.

And as our legislators get rich our neighborhoods go down the tubes.

Prohibition always leads to a black market, a black market always leads to violent crimes.

The marijuana laws are just another example of the government putting it's nose where it doesn't belong and the rest of us get screwed over in the process.
