  1. If we put our "waste" into Yucca Mountain, our supply of U-235 will run out in a little over 100 years. However, we can reprocess and remove the U-235 from the "waste" and reburn it. Our fuel would then last over a thousand years. Finally, we can use breeder reactors to burn U-238 and our fuel will last TENS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

Anyone who says nuclear energy isn't part of the answer to the energy crisis is an idiot. Wind, solar simply do not have the power density (wattage produced per area taken) that nuclear has. Waste isn't an issue because we will reprocess and reburn it.

  2. burn more tires!

  3. Hopefully as soon as possible, the sooner we learn that nuclear is not the way forward, the better our chances for survival!

  4. Excuse-moi si j'ai été un peu brutal dans mon autre réponse, l'ambiance du Q/R français est à couper au couteau, on a peut-être eu hier un suicide d'une d'entre nous.
