when will we see new alternative fuel sources and actual cures for diseases, i mean if this guy, a retired tv station owner and prodcast engineer can figure out a way to burn salt water with radio waves, and fight cancer to a degree that it will cure it completely....I dunno it makes you think, how can a guy that worked in his garage with the use of his wives pots and pans make a device that would cure cancer, and that would solve our energy problem when we have an entire scientific force speninding billions of dollars in cancer research and alternative fuels...can anyone answer this for me, i mean i think it may be that our own government and major cooperations of lien to us and are really greedy...is this true, lol

  1. doesn't make me think.

other than, "why do people fall for this stuff?"

    energy isn't free.

you get to use that which has been stored (as in coal and oil) or comes from the sun (as in solar, wind, ???) and hydro (yep, the sun also drives the hydro power).

    cures for cancer or ????

    are you serious?

the guy would be blindingly rich -- make Bill Gates look like a pauper.

"Does it sound too good to be true?"

hey, can i sell you a bridge?

    Golden Gate.

In fact, i'll make you a deal.

you can buy just the half of it where the toll lanes are.

    $5 a car, 100,000 cars,  half a million bucks.

    what more could you ask?

  2. As for the salt water fuel - it is bunk.

Basic laws of physics and chemistry prevent this from working.  Follow the cycle:

    Energy in --> radio waves ---> water ---> hydrogen/oxgyen ---> water + energy out

Energy out cannot exceed energy in.  The water is already "burned".  Going from water --> hydrogen/oxygen  and then back to water CANNOT have a net energy output, and will certainly come up short to at least some extent.

This kind of "water fuelled" whatever has been around for at least 30 years and also proves to be an impossible perpetual motion machine.  Anything that runs on this effectively runs on the electricity which makes the radio waves.

Sorry.  There is no such thing as "free" energy.  It always must come from a potential.

Using radio waves to disproportionate water is, I believe, novel, but it CANNOT be used as a fuel for extremely basic reasons.

Now when it goes away everyone will blame Bush.  Bush does not control the laws of physics.  Oh wait - I think he vetoed one.

  3. It might work for cancer treatment if you can ever train nanobots to carry gold to cancer cells.

Looking at the size of the equipment it took to flame a test tube of salt water, I got my doubts about practical energy.

  4. Lots of questions in this one...

Alternative fuels..We are beginning to see some research released to us but nothing will happen until there is no more profiteering to be had on petrochemicals.

To our present level of technology, the evolution of hydrogen is still more costly in energy than what we can derive from it.  Give them time.  When profit becomes the motive then you will see some action.

Other energy things that could be questioned are wireless transmission of power.  Nikola Tesla had it figured out in 1914 but the technology was suppressed...they couldn't figure out how to meter it.

Ditto Tesla's electric car. The actual plans for his energy transducer are safely hidden in some corporate safe until they can figure out how to sell the power.

Actual cures for disease?  Probably never.  Doctors want to TREAT disease, not cure it.  Plenty of money in treatments, not so much if the disease is gone.

If you want answers, just follow the money.  You will see what is being done and will know the 'why' of it.
