When will ww III start and what will it lead to?

I've heard that Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan are going to attack isreal. Iran being the leader of this attack could launch missiles into isreal(unknown if nuclear or not) isreal also claims if this happens iran will be wiped of the face of the earth. This also could cause a war of the middle east. Could this lead to WW III?

i dont see how the world can avoid a Big war.if we pull out of iraq things will get ugly there and if we dont they will get ugly. i have wondered the same thing, and its not like people ( iraq or whatever) are going to stop doing terrorist attacks. now we have built up even more debt to other countries and they cant be happy with that. now russia and georgia are fighting. i am not sure what iran and isreal have against each other but if iran attacks them gosh i cant think about it right now it looks bad dont it.  and too your Q i would say yes that a ww could come of it. stuf like that just seems to esculate overnight to the ordinary person.. one day peace, the next day the news is talking about wiping a entire country off the map..

Anything can lead to WWIII. You remember the Yom Kippur war, that was a worse situation then now, a coalition of Arab states against Israel.  That did not lead to WWIII (altho it had the potential).  It was relegated to heap of proxy wars, regional conflicts, and fights between rump states.

WWIII will not happen because the strategic powers do not believe in global suicide, since WWIII, by definition, will be nuclear.

Not a World War because alot more countries will have to be involved. Thats why our current war is not a world war(US-Iraq).

Yes, it could, but believe me, you really don't want to know when it will start and what it will lead to.  If they start tossing nukes anywhere it will PROBABLY eventually lead to an all-out nuclear war.  If that ever happens, just sit outside with a cold beer in your hand and pray that the first nuke coming your way goes off directly over your head.  You'll never feel it and you won't want to be around to try and survive in what's left afterwards anyway.
