I am pregnant with my second child, due in April. I have one daughter who is 8 months old. I felt her move for the first time around 12-16 weeks. I was wondering when second time mother's feel the baby move? Can you feel the baby move sooner? I just wanted to know because I have a history of miscarriage and I don't want to lose this one. When should I feel this one move? I am 8 weeks pregnant on Wednesday.

  1. With the second it is meant to be sooner so anytime from 13 weeks i would say. congrats. x

  2. The first time I felt my 2nd baby was at 11 weeks but just a slight little push and then I didn't feel her again for a few weeks again....but I started to feel her everyday at around 14 weeks or so...

  3. For a first pregnancy you will probably be aware of something at around 18 to 20 weeks. For subsequent pregnancies, when you know the tell-tale signs, first movements can be felt earlier, at around 15 to 18 weeks.

  4. With a second pregnancy, you generally feel the baby earlier because you are aware of what it feels like when the baby is moving. You will probably feel something from about 12 weeks+, roughly. But don't be alarmed if you don't feel anything until around 18 weeks
