When I'm using WipeDisk, I have to select which drive to wipe. The drive I want has two selections: Logical and physical. The drive is not partitioned into two or more parts. it is only one.

  1. i assume you have an operating system disc like XP or something. if so then you dont need anything to wipe your HD just put the OS disc in then restart, tell it to install the copy and when asked delete the old partition and create a new one

  2. Physical is the actual disk; logical is if you have divided a single disk into several partitions so each partition pretends it's an actual separate disk.

  3. Phsyical is the hdd

logical is when you crate your own partitions in the hdd

  4. Logical is the partition on the physical if you choose the physical then all it means is you will need to create another partition
