When women become aggressive, she is called a b word, but ok for man. equality?

While progress has been made in so many areas, I wonder why is that society still likes to quanity behavior. For example, a woman is not expected to be aggressive, and is called a b word incase if she is.

A man can sleep with multiple women and its ok, yet if a woman is called a s**t.

Then, if I as a crossdressing male, decide to shave my legs or wear makeup, or wear a dress, I am called a ******. Would you say that there are still double standards against women related items.

Then why is it ok for a girl to play with cars, but if a boy plays with dolls, there is a issue.

To change all this, do I accept what society says, or in my case, do I protest and wear makeup, dresses, and shave my legs to push back against society and how do you change views that society has created about whats ok for women vs. men

  1. I like people who are more in the middle: not really girly and not really manly. That is why I prefer Asian males. They are perfect.

You are correct that male behavior is too restrictive. I think that males and females should be able to play with dolls, cars, etc.

As for wearing obvious makeup - not all real women require it. I see it as being a fake woman no matter who wears it...if you want to use good skin care products and keep your complexion clear and healthy that is good for both genders. But the wild eye and lip makeup just makes a person look unhealthy and ugly whether the person is male or female.

And wearing the regular clothes of a real woman (not the tarty pretend woman stuff) is the best choice whether you are a man or woman wanting to look feminine.

It is very difficult to change society's views of male and female especially with these male-centric s*x-is-bad religions that are popular today.

  2. When guys don't act capable and strong, it makes them appear unable to provide for a family.  Therefore, it's seen as deeply unnatural.  Any bias you are seeing is the result of the hardwiring of our brains.  We are born to procreate, and men and women are different so that they fill different roles.  If you don't share these gender biases, your environment has seriously screwed up your brain.

  3. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

when men are aggressive they are called rapists & abusers!

    Men can't win in America.

    DON'T DATE AMERICAN WOMEN!

  4. Changing society is not an easy thing to do and an excruciatingly long process that happens (typically) though the efforts of many over a long period of time.  Each of us can help change society and the prevailing thoughts but it takes an attempt at educating others, not simply showing others what you want them to see.  People will not embrace what they cannot understand unless they have some other motivation for doing so.

My question to you is this....is the reason you crossdress to protest what society believes?  I would hope not, since I'm sure society would not see your actions as a protest.  Instead, I would hope that you crossdress because you enjoy doing so.  If you do enjoy doing so, it should not really matter what society thinks as long as you are doing so at times and in ways that don't affect your ability to maintain a living.  If you want society or those around you to accept your crossdressing, maybe you may start trying to educate people around you and help them understand things about crossdressing that they may have never thought of.  Don't, however, get upset if "they don't get it".

There is certainly a double-standard in our society but much of it we (women) perpetuate.

In a nutshell, enjoy being who you are.  Don't let what society thinks color who you are or what you want to be.  Try to educate others in an effort to change society instead of hating what you don't like about society.  Remember, one pebble can cause a very large ripple in the water, but nothing happens unless you throw that pebble.

  5. When a man becomes aggressive, he's called the "a" word. Thats equality.

  6. It is never okay for anyone to be aggressive.  Aggressiveness insinuates violence or an inability to control emotions.  Assertiveness is different and acceptable for both genders.

Really?  Not in my world.  If you stop believing this you will see many other do not think this as well.

Well if a woman put on a three piece suit, got a "high and tight" and wore no make up, she would be called a d**e.  No double standard here either.

I don't have an issue with this, but I realize many do.  I think it is quite sad.

I really think you have to just live your life as you see fit.  You can't change the world, only yourself.  There is no sense in going through life with a chip on your shoulder because society does not act how you see fit (as long as no one is being harmed).

  7. "A man can sleep with multiple women and its ok, yet if a woman is called a s**t."

    I call them s***s, whether they're a man or a woman.

  8. Thats because men and women are different. Promiscuous men are studs and have game, promiscuous women are just s***s. Ill leave it up to you to figger out why.

  9. Men and women are different but that doesn't mean equality, or something closer to it can be achieved.

Yes women get called things that men don't but there are 'special terms' reserved for men too.

Wimp,f*g,b***ard and cuckold to name but a few.

As with women these terms are usually used when a ,man  acts outside of the expected boundaries.

The problem is that both sexes seem to like scoring points off each other however small and irrelevant the victories are.

I prefer a girl with smooth legs and wouldn't have a problem having a shave if a girl didn't like my stubble.

  10. unless we all become asexual, there will never be equality. nor will you ever change it, so you may as well just say s***w it and do what you want. yeah, you'll catch h**l, but at least you'll be honest with yourself.

  11. "A man can sleep with multiple women and its ok, yet if a woman is called a s**t. "

To me, we can either stop calling people s***s and mind our own business, or we can call anyone who sleeps around a s**t, regardless of gender.

"For example, a woman is not expected to be aggressive, and is called a b word in case if she is. '

Well, there's a difference between "aggressive" and "assertive".  You ARE being a "b" if you're aggressive.  If you're an aggressive man, you're a jerk.  Different word, same meaning.

"Then why is it ok for a girl to play with cars, but if a boy plays with dolls, there is a issue. "

Because, according to society, anything feminine is wrong, which is why some women shun the color pink or anything "girly".  Funny, you don't hear guys saying, "Gee, let me not wear so much green today, I don't want to look too masculine".  I wonder why.

We can fight this by realizing that society isn't some group of people in a room deciding what is acceptable and what is not.  WE are society, so only we can change things.

  12. well. you cant change how society thinks.you can only change how you think and react to what goes on in society. honestly i think that our society was build on inequality and thats how its alway going to be here. reguardless if its a race, s*x, or income issue. Someone will always have to be better becuase thats how this society is. just say may god help me change what i can and accept the things i can not change. thats it.
