When would be the best time to buy a 16 gb itouch?

I was planning to buy one before school starts but I was wondering if the price would still possibly go down (possibly after Christmas). It is currently selling for about $370 (CAN). The 8gb is about $270 (CAN).

The prices don't change on Ipod for some reason, they never go on sale.  So you might as well get one now.

u probably should buy it as soon as possible. Apple will NEVER drop the price of the itouch even after 5 yrs.

BUT there is a way to get it slightly cheaper.

When no one buys an itouch from a store, it will obviously try to get rid of the itouch as soon as possible as it costs more to actually sell it. so it would drop its price.

Then you could go there and buy it.

Honestly it would onyl make about 10-20 dollar difference. so it wouldn't matter too much

the price will probably not ever go down too much in the retail stores, I think your best bet for a better deal would be eBay or Craigslist.com

buy it on boxing day that's when i got mine and most of the Ipod products were 75%-50% off

if you like the big screen of an ipod and all its features get it soon. i have to say though if you would like to say money and get almost an equivalent to an ipod in quality of sound and video (the only difference is the size which is much smaller) get a 8 or even 4 gb zen. i got mine for only 80 bucks and its really nice. the video is perfect the sound is pretty good. it also has an radio, can hold pics, and record sound. its not bad for a little inexpensive thing. i would highly recommend it. it even got onto the list of alternatives for ipod products. check it out!

no just buy one now. ipods hold their value very well because they are very hot items. or you could try buying a fairly new and well condition on craigslist.
