When would be the best time to come to Ireland and then maybe think about living there?

I would like to come and live in Ireland but I don't know when would be the best time to come over.

Don't. its a festering bog of a country. go to someplace more pleasant, like Iraq perhaps.

I would suggest that you come over for a visit in the winter just so you can see how bad our weather really gets before you make a long term decision about living here. It can be very dark and dreary for most of the year. Still, the quality of living in Ireland is at an all time high(one of the best in western europe). If your coming from america now is the perfect time. Our government is trying to get citizenship from illegal irish in america and if they make a deal then all illegal americans in ireland might get citizenship.
