  1. i had my boys on cereal at 2 1/2 months old.  my boys were downing 8 oz bottles ever hr.  my youngest was breastfed and bottle fed and nursed and would eat ever 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.  they were on actual baby food when they were that age, and i would give them like a jar of peaches and they would eat the whole thing. then i would try a jar of pears and they would take like 2 or 3 bites and they were done. my boys were big eaters though. my boys are now 4 and 3 and they are healthy and fine. i would try to give him half jar and see what happens. if he still seems cranky try for some more and see what happens if he still eats give it to him. you don't want to have your kids malnurished or have them fed 2 much.

    good luck

  2. its cereal and idk

  3. About 6 months.  Don't be in a hurry.  The best nutrition for infants is breast milk or infant formula.

  4. Ask the Dr. My doctor said we could add it to our daughters bottle when she was 4 months old.

  5. I started my son on cereal at 3 months. Cereal contains Iron which is good for brain development. I mix mine with water...I tried breast milk and formula but it didn't really mix well for me.. So i just add boiling water. WHatever works for you.

  6. Cereal should be started at four to six months. Too early or too late increases risks of diabetes later in life. You should talk to your doctor before you start.

  7. Between 4 to 6 months, but your baby's pediatrician will give you the go ahead for your baby. My pediatrician said to wait until 6 months to give my baby's cereal due to the immaturity of the intestinal track.

  8. rice cereal? 4 to 6 months, when baby is ready to eat with a spoon. do not put it in a bottle, choking hazard. and mix it with bmilk, or formula for nutrients

  9. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and The World Health Organization (WHO) both recommended feeding babies breast milk or formula exclusively until the baby is 6 month old.  AFTER 6 months, rice cereal may be given to the baby (mixed with breast milk or formula).

There are a few instances in which cereal may be introduced earlier, but this is ONLY under the advice of your baby's doctor.

  10. Usually at three months, or when you see that there not satisfied with milk and they are hungrier sooner.

  11. Between 4-6 mo.  or when you notice your baby is interested in food and doesn't push a spoon out of his mouth but opens it willingly.  They should be able to sit supported too.  Don't try to force anything as it isn't necessary for their survival until much later...early on is just for fun and so they can be exposed to new flavors and experiment with textures/temps, etc.

  12. start anywhere from 3-4months but in small quantities try mixing it with formula or breastmilk if you are breastfeeding. good luck with it, remember every baby is different.
