When writing a letter..people put P.S then say more. what does the p.s stand for???

when writing p.s at the end of a letter when adding more...what does the p.s stand for???? (does it mean plus?? or plus sentence or what??)

It stands for "post script", and is usually an afterthought or something you forgot to mention in the body of the letter.  Post, meaning after, and Script, meaning what has been written.

"P.S." stands for "Post Script," meaning it's after the letter. If you are adding "P.S.", you add it after your signature or closing. If you want to add something after your "P.S." (even though it's pointless and annoying, people continue to do this in a friendly letter), you would put "P.P.S.", not "P.S.S." because "P.P.S." means that it's after your post script (POST Post Script).
