There hasn't been a tornado to hit the town of Romeo, MI in the last 58 years. The most recent tornado to come close to hitting the town occurred on July 2, 1997. It was rated F0 and had a 0.7 mile long path. Luckily there were no fatalities although there were 6 injuries.

The most recent tornado to hit the county of Macomb (where Romeo is located), was on July 28, 2002. It was also rated F0 and caused no fatalities or injuries. Tornadoes are rather rare in Macomb county.
