  1. You can go to the doctor and get them removed, but that might be expensive.

Unfortunately the creams only work for the surface layer of the skin and stretch marks are much deeper than the surface layer.

  2. sorry i have mine for life its part of having a baby

  3. u can never get rid of strech marks, u can reduce there visability by using cocoa butter or bio oil and thats it

  4. sorry to break this to ya honey but they NEVER go away! Dont waste your money on potions and creams, losing weight does help them to fade, they go from purple to like a silvery colour....dont be ashamed of them, your body grew a baby inside, something to be very proud of!!! x*x.

  5. The best thing to do is to try to prevent them in the first place, you can even get baby's daddy to help out. Massage your tum, bum, thighs & b*****s with cocoa body butter at least once a day. Both the cream & the massage action will work wonders. I did this during my 3 pregnancies & the only stretch mark I have is one on my tummy where my navel ring is, as I never removed it, & even that isn't a bad one. It also helped my man get involved with the pregnancy & bond with my bump & helped me to still feel s**y. have fun. x

  6. well if you find out there is please let me know!!!! HOWEVER with my first daughter i got them soo bad I thought they would never go away HOWEVER they did fade so much that you didnt notice them at all and could barely see them even undressed after a couple of years, thenwent onto have my second child and they came back thick and fast, by the end of his pregnancy they were itchy and bleeding and had a stomache like a road map, 12 months on theyre still there and still very purple but are fading slowly but i doubt will ever go enough to not notice them like with my first. I have heard bio oil helps dramaticaly reduce the appearance of stretch marks but at the price of it I was kind of waiting for one of my other pregnant buddies to try it first!

  7. Hi there,

You cant actually get rid of stretch marks all together but you can improve them but unfortunately to say its not going to be a quick over night thing. It does take time i had my son 2 years ago and have still got them. The best thing i find using is palmers coco butter and bio oil. Apply the bio oil at night before you go to bed because it is quite greasy and the coco butter apply that in the morning and it is a great for all over your body.

    good luck xx

  8. only thing that works is a tummy tuck and that only gets rid of so many, but why go through all the pain when like everyone says they fade a lot, trust me, they got me too, in the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy... my partner just laughs when i get down about them, he thinks that they may be not the best, but they were caused by something far more precious x x

  9. they will fade and become barely noticeable.

any creams used to reduce the appearance of Scars will help.

    bio oil

    cocoa butter

    vitamin E

    they are very popular.

other thing to try, if your stretch marks hurt, bleed, itch or are a discomfort, one way to ease that is to break open Vitamin E capsules, and rub the vitamin straight onto the stretch mark, one at a time. this can give ultimate relief.

  10. I never had any stretchmarks, because I rubbed my belly with oil throughout my whole pregnancy and it really helped.

I do know though that Bio oil will get rid of stretchmarks for you.

  11. They will never completely go away, but rather they will fade in time to a skin tone - you can help them some tho by using pure vitamin E oil which helps to minimise scarring after surgery or an accident and to reduce the colouration faster

Perhaps you might regard them as your battle scars - in some societies they would be an honourable thing to have and be proud of

I still have my stretch marks - as you age they become less important to you - Enjoy your baby and make your baby your focus instead!
