  1. Go with a Honda Civic, I have a 1996 with 220000 miles on it.  It still has the original engine and transmission.  You are going to have to do some repairs, but hopefully small one, alternator, starter, plugs and wires etc.  Buy a Civic, get the lowest miles you can for $ 3500, but don't worry about the miles to much.  I would rather buy a civic with 130000 miles on it from an old guy, then a Civic with 80000 miles on it from a kid that has rallied it into the ground.  Good Luck.

  2. 75000 depends on the make u want and what state u live in if u are not fussy u can get a decent car for that just dont take the first thing u look at take your time took me 8 months to get my beamer at my price and miles it had 36000 for a 7 year old u  can find them trust me

  3. Definetly nothing over 100k. 90k is pushing it. Make sure you can get the car checked out before you buy it too, because cars usually need some work done or atleast little things done to them and 3500 is not that much.

  4. For me, I would try to stay away from any car that has over 75k miles. But the mileage depends on what you can afford. Whatever car it is, the less miles it has the better.
