When you are 16 do you not get help from plane to plane when a parent or guardian is present or do you still?

my friend and i are heading off to england in december, she'll be 17 and i'll be 16. We are going to visit her dad.

My brother and I have been traveling by ourselves since we were 10. You can pay around $20-30 to have an assistant during your flight, and they will help you get to your next flight. This is very handy because when you get the assistant, you will always be the first ones in line and you get to cut everyone else, also you are first on the plane. The assistant will take you to your next flight or wherever you need to go.

      Unfortunately, i'm not quite sure if they assist teenage people of your age. If not, their is ALWAYS help around the airport if you have trouble. Just ask an airport official or security guard, they know exactly where you need to be or at least they can guide you to your gate. The airport is not that hard to get around, my brother and I stopped paying for assistance when we turned 14. All you have to do is stay calm and pay attention to the signs. Lastly, since you're going to england, you have the greatest advantage because you will have no problems communicating with the airport officials. Just remember, stay calm and don't be afraid to ask for help.

At first glance, your question is confusing but you really mean if you'll get help if your parent or guardian is NOT present.  If you're worried about getting lost and require help, normally the airlines offer this help as a service, and you would have to pay. The customer service agents will escort you through security and hand you over to the flight attendant who will then offer you to the customer service agents at the other end and so on.  If you feel you are okay on your own, just ask the agents when you arrive at your connection point to get to your gate and they will direct you in the right direction.  They will help you.
