  1. I was 65 last April. You keep your DLA, which at the higher rate  covers Motorbility. Just off in my 3 yrs old motorbility Zafira1.8 to the Cotswolds. When we return I will collect my brand new one. happy motoring.

  2. No, I don't think it would.

  3. Think at age 65 here in UK you become a State Pensioner and are thus in receipt of the UK State Pension and will be able then to claim more efficient and valuable benefits to top up your income.

The minimum income here in UK is set at £150 per week and anyone earning less [household income] than this sum, is entitled to claim benefits.

Everyone over the age of 60 in UK can claim heating allowance, which at present is £200 per household - for a single person living alone, or £100 for each person over 60 living in a household.

  4. No, Mobility Allowance carries on after 65yrs of age but

it will also depend on how long you have been given it for. I am still receiving Motability and Care because it was granted indefinitely so I would suggest you get in touch on the number the above answerer has given you.

  5. I would like to correct Clive H when he states that the minimum income in the uk is £150 per week.

For a Pensioner, the minimum income is £92 30 per week, and anything above that is made up with pension credit.

My state pension and pension Credit totals £ 134. 37p per week.

I only wish I was getting £150 per week.

  6. It depends if your condition or illness has got worse over the years. the best place to contact would be your local dla department. if your in the UK that would be Blackpool
