When you are at a conert and your tickets say "lawn seats" does that mean that you have to bring a lawn chair?

  1. there is a "lawn" area that you can bring a towel or a cushion to sit down on. not really like a traditional seat.


  2. It means you seat your butt on the lawn :P Literally. Just sit on the grass.

  3. Better to bring a blanket or beach towel - depending on the show, they may not even let you bring a chair. The venue's website should have more info. You'll likely end up standing most of the time, anyway.

You CAN bring a lawn chair, but most people just bring blankets and sit on the lawn.  It means you DON'T have an assigned seat.  First come, first served on the grass.  Arrive early, bring your blanket, and find the best "seat".  Some venues allow coolers, others do not.  Find out ahead of time what policy is and bring a "picnic" if you can.  It's a lot of fun!
