When you are feeling confused and a emotional wreck what helps u get it together?

I know everyone is different so I would really like your opinion. Do you think that your positions in Astrology have anything to do with it?

To think more on the positive side... Some of our problem will always be there no matter what we do... So feeling confused or thinking that there is no more hope will only make things worst... I saw others  trying to drink heavely to easy out the burden, but alcohol will only make us miserable, and the problem remains the same, after the hangover is gone...Instead, I try to laugh at it, and solved them the best I can..Both my parents are gone, and that reminds me that we are here temporarily... Behind that reasoning, and other phylosophy in life helps me get my confidence back together...

I get this way after I've been thru something very stressful for me.  I let myself feel it.  I let myself work thru it, and allow the feelings.  I don't ignore them because if I do that, they will only be repressed and come out later on.  I just trudge thru, and then when the cloud starts to pass, I pick myself up again, and slowly progress toward looking to my future once again.  

I agree that everyone is different, and if you're having a hard time, listen to what your body is telling you that you need.  If you need time to slow down and work thru your problems, then do it.  Don't worry about what people say you should do.  Do what YOU need to do.

I'm a Virgo sun and Taurus moon, and I do think that it takes me longer than some to get thru hardships.  When I've set a goal, and then it may come crashing down, I feel crushed.  But I do what I said above, start reaching for that goal again, and it all works out in the end.  Good luck to you "Kelly".

awwwh Kelly,  what might help is if you can get ouside and run.  The physical exercise will release endorphins and calm your mind.  Try to get into a routine of some kind of exercise, if you are not already.

I also need to talk to someone, even it is just a phone call about nothing in particular~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I seek out the comforts of my family or my wife. Most the time it's my wife as nothing sets me free from the troubles of my life than making love to my wife.  

If no one is available, music is my option B...sit there in my bed, recollect all myl thoughts, think of things good and things i could do better, all the while listening to some good music (no lyrics as they tend to get in the way of my thoughts.).  

Sometimes talking to other people helps, but then alot of times they look more into giving you the 'reality' side of things and also ANSWERS to your turmoil which at times isn't what you really want, you just need something to comfort you...not answers to stuff we already realize or know about.  

So my get away is having great s*x with my wife....the more passionate slow s*x....the ones that really count when you love someone, as it's real relaxing and not so much the 'give it to me and finish hard!" kind..but just the relax in bed and go real nice n slow kind.....takes me to another world without worrying about bills, stress, life, failures....just me, my wife, and love.

OR....what i like to call 'god' time....where god is my listener and it's just me venting on everything in my life...with good music in the background.  

It's my 'safety box' from reality.

I'm a pisces...i am a dreamer, so it relates somewhat as far as my methods to 'get it together'.

For me, the best medicine is to get it out of my system. I like to revert inside myself, cry, and think everything through. It sometimes helps to talk to a friend, but I often find that when I'm seeking emotional comfort, I'm the only one that can give it to myself. I often talk to myself in private, and get out all of the things that are bothering me. I try to escape from the world for a little bit, and just think about myself and my feelings. After I've calmed myself down and gotten out all of the tears and anger from within, I like to comfort myself with words. I look at all the sides of the situation and think about what I'm doing wrong, and what the best way to get through my problem would be. I tell myself that it may be hard, but that I can get through it, and that patience is the key. I admit my wrongs to myself, and I express my positive qualities, and I set certain goals for myself.

Of course, it does depend on the situation and how deep it is. There are times when there is really nothing you or anyone can say to heal the pain....Sometimes it's just best to admit that you are feeling upset, and not try to rationalize it away. Knowing your weaknesses can help bring strength. It can also help to find a friend or loved one that does care about you, and just get a hug knowing that they support you.
