  1. They don't. But that doesn't mean you should cheat.

  2. I haven't gotten to tests yet so early in the year. But last year, my brother was a senior and my mom watched him on his BIG tests. Other than that my parents trusted us. I hope that answered your question:D

  3. Unless it is a proctored exam, you must exercise honor and integrity.  If you cheat, you are only hurting yourself.

  4. I have to mail tests to REAL teachers, log assignments(like home work) and take the state testing(PSSA). So they'll know if you cheat because only 1 set of grades will be good.

  5. I don't call it cheating I mean if you have the answers available whynot use them why risk failing when you could pass without any effotr

i mean im still learning from this and my parents don't care they are too busy i mean my dad is flying all over the world all the time and my mother is a senator they do not care

  6. Well, if you're homeschooled, you don't have to do any tests if you don't want to (unless the rules in your State specifically say otherwise).

If you're signed up to a virtual school or correspondence school, they might set you tests. I guess it's a matter of self respect not to cheat (what'd be the point? cheating in tests is just cheating on yourself).

However there is also computer software that can easily detect evidence of cheating, plus any half decent teacher is going to have a sixth sense about that sort of thing - they'll know when your syntax changes or if your answers are 'too perfect' or just 'too good' for you to have written unaided.

But some tests are open book anyway so then you'd be expected to work from your notes, textbooks etc while doing the test.

  7. Do you mean that the student has the answers to cheat  (like stealing the answer from the teacher?) or do you mean by using the  book or researching as someone was taking the test? Sometimes a test is timed for the average user so if a person who was not familiar with the content of the test they would not be able to find the info in a reasonable time. Sometimes the online test has a built in timer for the teacher to see how long it took you to take the test and question if it takes an extra long time. Sometimes it is on your honor.  For homeschoolers, usually it is the parent that makes sure the student isn't cheating.

Of course, a good student will realize that cheating doesn't hurt ANYONE except then themselves. Really, what would be the purpose of cheating other than to cheat yourself out of an education?

  8. Many online schools require all exams to be proctored.  Some people use certified teachers, others use librarians, etc.  Usually it has to be someone other than the parent.
