When you are in a funeral procession, can you run red lights and stuff legally?

If your vehicle is marked with a flag from the funeral home, you and the other cars in the procession can legally go through red lights. The other cars on the road are supposed to pull over and let all the cars in the procession pass, but you see some ignorant jerks that don't. Pulling over and letting the funeral procession is showing respect for the deceased.
