  1. The buoyant (upward) force is equal to the weight of the volume of water you displace.  If your body's density is less than water, you will float.  You would sink until the displaced amount of water was equal to your total body weight.

  2. The less air in your body, the more likely you are likely to float, and vice versa.

  3. What I do is that I take in a lot of air and go down and slowly u come back up. Its kind of the same as a bubble but your the bubble.
