So i want to know when iam serving food to someone iam feeding them but what is it called when iam serving them drinks? Is it called iam drinking them?

  1. You are plying them with beverage. You are hydrating them. You are quenching their thirst. wetting the whistle.....on and on and on and on....


  2. Technically the term is Quenching.  But it sounds silly in normal conversation.

  3. It is an English Question rather than a "Food and Drink" Question.

    When you are serving food to someone, you are feeding them with food.

    When you are serving drinks to someone, you are refreshing them with drinks.

  5. You are not feeding somebody unless they are babies or otherwise helpless. with both food and drink, you are waiting on them.
