  1. You can still have milk with a cold.

If your throat is sore, ask your mom or dad to pick up some throat lozenges that have a mild analgesic in it (the pharmacist will know which do).

As well, have a glass of water with one teaspoon of salt in it, mis it well and gargle with it for a minute or so. Don't swallow it. You can safely do this a few times a day to help with the pain.

As well, warmer liquids like broth soup, tea, etc will help as well.

If you begin to get a fever, the pain gets worse or doesn't clear up in 4 or 5 days, see you doctor.

  2. its not exactly bad to drink milk

but it is when the milk is cold, that'll just make your throat more sore

if you want to drink milk make sure its warm .

  3. Yes, milk produces mucus.  Avoid when you have a cold.

Gargle with Hydrogen peroxide (it will feel weird because of bubbles).

Suck on Zinc lozenges.  Suck on cough drops with eucalyptus.

Drink tea with lemon & honey.

    Chicken soup

    Vit. C 1000mg. every 2 hours for 2-3 days.

Aleve or Advil for to reduce pain & inflammation.

    Zinc 50mg.

    Feel better.
