I'll bet your answer might be "no". I hate tricky drivers.. They are the ones in the long run making the traffic slower and worse.... I understand the rage, I feel it almost every time I go out....

I'd like to see a few of them get knocked out and left on the side of the road, or in the least their paint job keyed.

When i was a kid, some drivers would actually stop and signal that it was ok for me to cross the street. I don't think so many of them have the manners and courtesy to do that now, so they deserve to be slapped with a fine, or physically, in my book, by me or you, if need be....

  1. By law it is really illegal for someone to do that because if they do and you are involved in an accident, then the person that let you in would be responsible for the accident.

This was explained to me by a police officer and when someone does this, they are assuming the position of traffic control.

  2. Drivers are NOT supposed to stop to motion pedestrians to cross. Drivers who do that interrupt the free flow of traffic, put pedestrians who fail to look the other way before crossing in danger, and increase the odds of rear-end crashes.

Pedestrians must cross at a crosswalk and must wait until it is safe to cross. If it takes several minutes for a break in traffic, that's the way it is.

The polite thing for motorists to do is follow the traffic laws, not try to be courteous, only to disrupt traffic and create unnecessary danger.
