In a really intense moment, do you ever shake? sweat? does your heart ever hurt from beating so hard?

What was the most intense moment you have watched as a fan? What was your body's reactions to it (shaking, sweat, heartrate, vominting, etc.)?

  1. i have never checked my heart rate.. but i am a very loud person.. like when there is a bad call im screaming at the top of my lungs... or when my team scores "wings" i scream and jump around a little and clap and stuff.

  2. I don't get nervous for exams, for job interviews, for nearly anything, but when the Red Wings (or any of my favorite football teams) are playing, I'm shaking and pacing and my heart rate is to the roof.

  3. My arms go numb sometimes.  Especially during OT.  Yeah, my heart hurts bad sometimes and I get the shakes.  To combat all of this, I usually move around more.

  4. My heart rate definitely goes up, especially when that ******* ref takes back a goal.  My blood pressure didn't come down until Samuelson scored his second goal.  And I actually got dizzy just before Lidstrom "scored".

  5. well, my adrenaline certainly goes up...i start shaking, feeling sick to my stomach, and stuff like that

the most intense moment i've seen as a hockey fan is all those insanely close save by Nabby all season long...i swear, during that game 6 4 OT game and all the other 77 games he started, my heart probably "stopped" at least, like 5-10 times...lol

  6. Yea, I get really tense, I start sweating, adrenaline just rushes through me. It is like this for every game, sometimes, I think I need to be leashed so I don't go crazy lol.

    I even hallucinate sometimes!

  7. Um you didn't specify NHL or not so I'm going to say YES when I'm watching my son (does being a goalie momma ever get easier??)  I go through a roll of TUMS every game.  As far as NHL, I get excited but not THAT excited.  I'm old and hafta watch that stuff you know LOL.

  8. Of course I get really excited when the Wings score. But the only time I get really pumped up to where I can't stay seated is when the Wings are up by one goal in the final 1 - 1 1/2 min when the opposing team pulls it's goalie. Then it's agony. Heart rate goes sky high, palms get all sweaty, mouth gets dry, I start pacing all over the place, adrenaline coursing through my veins. And then when it's all over I can't go to sleep!

  9. In the beginning I'm fine...But if the teams are tied going into the last few minutes of the third, or my team is only up by one in the third, and the opposing team has pulled their goalie and are having tons of shots on goal...My heart pounds and I get sooo scared...Then OT scares the h**l out of me, and the SO scares me even MORE.  Haha, then when the game is over I'm either angry - when they lose or totally chill again - when they win.

  10. If it is intense and it's my favourite team, then I do react.... I sweat, I feel adrenaline rushing and anxiety building, I wring my hands and jump up and down, putting all nearby furniture and objects at risk... every slight movement of the puck sends me across the room

  11. Naw, I am a laid back person. I did however get a little more into last night than usually, cause I despise the PENS..... mainly cause of the marketing that the NHL has done for them.

  12. when i am watching a really exciting game i get nervous and bit my nails...eat alot ..like tons of popcorn! talk alot and have this werid laugh...ha no my heart never hearts from that tho.

most intense moment was the never ending shoot out between the wild and the black hawks, but bouchard ended it with the spin a rama! i was sweating biting my nails and screaming with every shot

  13. If I'm holding the remote, I find myself with a bit of a grip on it, especially during constant end-to-end rushes and big saves... Yeah but never really shaking or sweating or... Vomiting?

  14. It depends on how well my team is doing .If the yare doing well I'm cool a a cuke and only make noise when they score or do an awesome PK or Parros fights..woo wooo!!! If they are doing crappy then I start yelling at the TV. I've never checked my <3 rate that'd be interesting.

  15. i get very excited and my heart rate goes up

when im nervous i chew on my nails, bad, bad habit

  16. I sweat.

  17. I'm always waiting for the Police to come busting down my door because they think I am yelling and throwing things at my wife.

In reality, it';s just the tv, and it's just me in here.

"We know she's in here, where is she?!?!?!?!?!?!"

  18. Well Yes I do go crazy only when I watch my favorite team,  adrenaline just rushes through me and I start sweating, but no I never vomited after watching a game lol

  19. When I was watching the first game of the Stanley Cup playoffs ( not going to tell you who I was rooting for ot there will be tons of thumbs down lol) and man I was at the edge of my couch at the starting of the game. And constantly putting my hand up half way in the air when there were close calls/shots on net and my heart rate I would say would be a nice 155 probably especially with all the junk I was eating lol
