do you ask your parents permission before or after you make the plans?

i don't want to ask before because i might not end up doing anything. but i don't want to ask after because my parents might not be okay with it and then i would have to cancel on my friend.

It is more polite to ask your parents first.  Just for the simple reason of courtesy where it is due.

Lolxz. Sometimes I ask my friends out first, and then tell me parents they ask me out. But sometimes it's better to ask your parents first.

If you don't ask your parents first, and they say no, tell your freinds something important came up.
