  1. I've never felt that. I feel heavy vibrations and my ears pop. But I guess it could be that the body is falling asleep, like your foot would or something. I'm not sure since it hasn't happened to me.

  2. No not pins or needles.I feeling you are moving inside your body but your body is dead still. This might explain why i cannot stand fast acceleration. In a car i cannont stand a car going fast.If i see something on TV moving very fast i feel very strange like i going to jump out of my body. You experience Astral projection at incredible speed and acceleration.Anything that can mimic thoses speeds or acceleration can try to trigger astral projection. That's why when i seen the speed of the star gate on TV i had to close my eyes. The first time i saw this nearly made me leave my body.If i viewed this speed on TV long enough i would have achieved astral projection

  3. I only feel pins and needles when my foot's asleep, not when I am asleep (and dreaming).

  4. A friend of mine a long time ago started to explain to me that he astral travelled and managed to do this regularly too.  I was a bit dubious about it even though I experience other kinds of weird phenomena.  Anyway, he explained that one night he decided to pay me a visit and flew over to my place.  He described the journey from above, trying to impress me with landmarks he knew etc.

He then described that on his journey back 'home' he flew over a major road by Sydney Harbour (for those who know it, it's Rose Bay Road) and following the winding road he saw some coppers ahead of him.  Then he spotted a car which was going very very fast on the road and would obviously get caught.  He flew down to the car, memorised the number plate for some reason and then peeked inside the car.  The man was travelling at 100kmph (about 75 mph), way too fast so he spoke to the man and told him to slow down, coppers ahead.  The guy seemed to get what he was saying and slowed down just in time to avoid getting caught speeding by the police.

Anyway, he told me this story and I was like, yeah yeah.  Then one day about a month later, we were sitting in a cafe and he suddenly points a car out to me.  "OMG!" he says, "That's the car in my travel that night!"  So we go up to the guy once he parked the car and my friend asks the guy about a night about a month ago, trying not to sound like an absolute ***... and at first the guy is like... "who the **** are you?" and then as my friend continues to explain, this guy is like, "Yes, I was visiting my girlfriend that night and it was like 4 in the morning and thought I could just breeze home when I suddenly get the feeling to slow down, didn't know why but my brain kept telling me to just slow down!"  The guy was spooked and I stood there amazed! (But then again, what if the whole thing was scripted and these two people knew each other! Now that is a trick and a half, but I never met the other guy again)...

But that's not the end of it, about six months later, I am lying in bed with this friend who ended up being my fiance and I am in a half daze when suddenly I hear the drone of aeroplane engines, my body starts shaking and a part of me feels like it is literally lifting itself off the bed and I glance sideways to see that my body is left beneath me.  I panicked at this stage and prayed to get back into my body.... I had no pins and needles, but I did scare the c**p out of myself.  And from other accounts (only a few that I know of or have heard about) I don't recall a mention of pins and needles at all.

  5. This is called Lucid Dreaming

it is where you can control your dreams

yes there is a certain sensation similar to "pins and needles"

  6. Well Right after I got attuned to Usui Reiki 1 I believe I had an astral traveling experience myself :)  I was in a meditative state and all of a sudden I saw myself from my ceiling and I started to float up past the sky past space and to the point where the universe was still growing (it was just white space) then I started to fly vertically until I reached a brick wall. As soon as I went through the wall there was a HUGE bright flash of white light and I was back to normal counsiousness :) Through this whole experience I did not feel any pins and needles that I can remember but I dot recall feeling myself vibrating up and down very fast while floating up. And for all you skeptics; no I was not on drugs hahaha I dont drink or do any type of drug except for sometimes coffee even though its rare :o

:) Love LIght and Peace :)
