I just want the phone and the basic phone functions, I don't want anything extra right now. Will I be forced to pay anything more than for the phone and my renewal contract just because its a Blackberry?

  1. If you just want basic phone features, do not buy a BlackBerry. Buy a Samsung or an LG or a Motorola phone.

BlackBerry smartphones REQUIRE a BlackBerry data plan to access all the features that a BlackBerry offers.

You will not be forced to pay anything extra for a BlackBerry.

You will just be hitching a Quarterhorse to a plow.

  2. No, there's no blackberry fees.

If you just want the phone and use just the calling and phone features such as camera, etc....its just freee

but everything else, texting, email, GPS have different pay plans per month...and these are optional

  3. If your service is through AT&T, the Blackberry unlimited data plan is $30/month and doesn't include text messaging.  If aren't going to use the internet, email features, or texting  then it wouldn't cost anything extra but I don't know why you would want a Blackberry if you aren't going to use any of these features.

  4. after a little while of arguing and threatening to switch servis providers and end your contract Verizon let me just pay for the basic phone features. but it took alot of time and Patience
