when you buy a family plan form a phone company lets say it is $69 and you add 3 lines which are 9 each is is that mean each mont you would pay 69 dollars plus 27 dollars? thanks..

  2. If you are wanting three lines TOTAL, it would be the 69 plus the 9.  If you are wanting the two original lines, plus three in addition, making 5 total, then yes, it would be the 69 plus 27

  3. It would be $69 plus $27 as you said and you'd have 4 lines total. At least that's how AT&T works. My BF and I have a family plan together and we pay for the plan itself at $50 or whatever and then $10 more for his line, being the second on the account. You'd think since it's a family plan you'd at least get the first 2 lines for free but at least with AT&T I know you have to pay for any more than just one. Your calculation is correct.
