Do you barter, and do you offer your price before seeing it or when you actually see it too see the condition up close, I'm wondering why because I just broke a funboard that I don't think was worth the full price the guy was listing(For $125, paid $125), I'm about to go see another funboard thats probably in better condition then and also listed at $125, if it looks good should I still ask something like $100?, pls hlp

  1. $125.00 is pretty cheap. I suspect that a $125.00 board is pretty much a piece of junk to begin with. You might be better off going to a surf shop, and buying a good used board, even if you have to pay a little  more. Think about this, why is this dude selling his board? If he bought a new one, why didn't he try to trade in this one (although I know some surf shops won't take trade ins). If it is some mass produced, piece of **** pop-out manufactured in some former Soviet bloc country in a factory where the workers have never even seen the ocean, skip it. Or maybe it so many dings and water leaks that its delaminating.Save your money and buy a real surfboard later.

  2. yeah you always want to go lower than the asking price..but not by a lot to the point where the seller is getting ripped off but

you also want to thoroughly check out the board delaminations, major dings, leaks, cracks, buckles and all that kind stuff EXTREME YELLOWING check under the stickers thats on the board because sometimes theres nasty surprises under those stickers..
