I am English living in Vietnam and bought the seed's in Thailand, god knows how old these seed's could be, but does it matter if they where in a tin foil sealed packet.I bought about 20 packet's and the instructions are in Thai and am having about a 30% success rate.

  1. Some do and some don't. I have planted seeds that were over 5 years old and they did ok.

  2. Just keep them in a dry, air tight, cool place until you are ready to plant them.

  3. Keeping them air tight is best and foil does help with that. The ones I buy do have a sell by date.

  4. I don't think so.. Just keep them in a very dry place and you should be fine:) GOOd luck

  5. Usually, somewhere on the packet, it will say "Packed for 2008 season" or whatever year it is.
