When you buy food that has a sweepstakes code, Do you enter to win them?

Question

For example pepsi and other brands have codes under their caps. Do you enter the codes online to try to win stuff?

Or do you just throw them away?

It's pretty simple if it's just a code to be entered online.  I usually enter them in.  Actually, we accumulated quite a few points for Coke and used them to purchase quite a few movie tickets.  In the end it pretty much worked out that the money spent on Coke to get a movie ticket was about the same as to go purchase the movie ticket yourself, so it was a good deal.

It wasn't exactly a sweepstakes, though.  You could just "buy" items with the points you accumulated.  I personally think that is better than entering numbers just for the chance to maybe win something in the future.

Sometimes I do, but most of the times I don't because it's usually something I wouldn't care to win anyways.

I won some a weekend in Daytona from a sweepstakes code, and had a lot of fun there!

I enter a lot of them if I can enter online. I have gotten some good stuff from Coke rewards too.

throw them away. i dont think its possible to win. i know most people think the same way but still at least 200,000 desperate people are entering. probably only one cap out of 999 million wins anyway
