  1. What up Baron D,

That would be really cool...  it's not as common of a thing to see basketballs go in the stands as in baseball.  The few times i've seen the ball go into the stands the fans have returned it.

    Nickster

  2. No your not allowed it keep it I saw missed pass and went out of bounds to like the 5th row or something and the ref went up to him and told him to pass it back. Suck... It would be great if you could keep it.

+each NBA ball it like 100bucks or so

  3. Yes, it is commemorative.

  4. Yes

  5. no. theres no home run in basketball. plus david stern wants them all back. no freebies. nba wants you to buy them not catch them.

  6. Unfortunately no; ive seen though when someone is being a d!ck and not return it promptly the ushers go and get it. On the flip side Ive seen it when someone catches it and darts off, completely getting away w/ it.

No is the answer, if they want it back they are entitled to it unlike anything that flies into the stands in baseball

  7. I think the NBA requires you to return the ball to them.  Or else they'll have to dig up another one.

All players kinda feel up the ball before the game to make sure they are all pleased with the ball and its a "fair" ball.

Its different from teh MLB, because MLB dont pump air into their balls.  Every baseball is the same and they probably use up to 20 per game.

In NBA they like to keep it to one.

  8. Don't they change those balls frequently? I'm guessing there aren't enough balls to last a game if fans got to keep them. I think on some rare occasions, a fan can keep it, like at the end of a game, or if it was just launched in the air. Unlike baseballs though, basketballs are more durable and can last a while. Baseballs are probably destroyed after a few hits in the pros. As someone did say, they are cheap, you know.

  9. No, they half to give in back unlike baseball which are cheap to replace 3 for 10 a good NBA quality basketball is more like 30 or more for 1! and if each ball that went in to the stands was lost they team could spend 100's of dollars to replace after they might give the game ball to a player in the front row sometimes.

  10. if u want to take the chance of coming up with security then i guess you are allowed but it will be wise to give it back, just like do you go to a highschool game or college game and you catch the basketball of course you will give it back and not run off with it, i mean a basketball is way bigger than a baseball so you will probably look dumb running off with it, plus the basketball in a NBA game will be sweaty due to the players hands or in case of steve nash when he used to l**k his his fingers, touch his hair, and then touch the ball
