  2. No, your minor doesn't have to be related to your major. I considered getting a minor in music just because I love it but my major is nursing so, there ya go! lol.

Sometimes, yes, you do.  For instance, if you're going into medicine: nursing, psychiatry-you will have to have a related major and minor.  Your major for the above (psychiatry) may be psychology, but you'll have to minor in biochemistry.  If you did psychology and don't also specialize in biochemistry you won't become a psychiatrist so it all depends.  Me personally: I'm a film major/digital arts minor/psychology (neuroscience) minor.  Check with your college advisor.

  4. They do not have to be related, but it is helpful if they are related.  This is because some classes will count towards both.  It depends on what you want, don't choose related ones if you really want your minor to be something totally different.
