  1. When I flip it, that side should be done, so no, I use the same one.  If I use a spatula to put it on the grill, I put it in the sink afterwards and use a clean one to flip and remove.

  2. I do, but I usually use a fork for flipping.

  3. No.  The cooking heat destroys germs.  It's important to know that there is nothing in the world that can protect us from every conceivable germ that exists.

  4. look you only have to use one just wrise it off and dryit after each flip

  5. no

  6. No I don't.  I would wash it if I had scooped raw chicken with it and then needed to use it in another cold dish.  But you really don't have to be that careful.  It is good to be reasonably careful, especially with hamburger and poultry, but no need for extremes

  7. Good Question! I never thought about it and always just used the spatula from beginning to end. I use a clean plate though.

  8. you just need to wash it[=

  9. No you don't have to use another spatula, the spatula is going to touch the hot pan again to grab the meat anyway, if you feel that uneasy about it then wash it off but there is nothing to worry about.

  10. Oh good greif, I don't mean to be negative but PLEASE.  Use common sense.  you don't need to use two spatulas, you put the dang meat on the "cooker" and you flip it.

you need to worry more about where your meat comes from.

Sorry again, I'm in a REALLY bad mood.

  11. YES U DO NEED 2 when cooking meat and stuff u want o use differnt spoons and spatulas speacially cooking with chicken u dont want to transfer the grems and bacteria so use diffrent no matter what others tell u bacteria is nothing to play with!!!

  12. Absolutely!

If I am turning or checking meat with a fork, I get a new fork every time I touch the raw, cooking meat.  Especially with chicken--I probably change forks 4-6 times.

I 'd rather be safe (and wash a few more dishes) than sorry.
